This was the 3rd kit I'd bought from pvelectronics. It was an absolute pleasure to build and has a lot of options to tube it's operation to your own tastes. With options available for time/date sync via several options and even PIR sensor options. I love my spectrum 18 kit. I built a custom case for mine and I find myself staring at it every evening. A really outstanding kit with dazzling performance of the finished clock. The instructions are clear and fully detailed with in-progress photographs. It’s been such a pleasure to build that I have now built 4 of them for family and friends. And the looks are so captivating that I’ve even sold 2 on commission. You certainly can’t go wrong with this kit. I would recommend it to anyone who has at least basic soldering skills....

Excellent kit and great to put together, this was the 1st time i'd done any electronics work in nearly 20 years but the clear instructions & top quality parts made it nice to build. I put this kit in a custom wall-mounted case & got great support from PV when I had questions about finding a power supply with a right-angled connector. This was my second clock build from PV Electronics and i can say the best purchase i have made to date. The instructions are clear and simple and allows someone like myself with little experience to carry out the build. Such an awesome clock to have built and certainly admired by many. Having built quite a few clocks with Pete's kits this has to be one of the best he makes.
This went together very smoothly and it is in one of my clocks using Z566M tubes. I also have a specially configured version of this for a 'Halo' clock and yet another modified version of these kits is going into a ZM1040 clock.
Pete's service and back up is second to none and he provides what I would rate as the best kits available for the beginner to expert Nixie clock maker....
